What is God?

This can be the most controversial question of all time, but today we are going to answer it with logic and try to get clarity on this awesome question about God and Religion.
I was going through YouTube Shorts when I saw a video asking Neil DeGrasse Tyson if you believed in God, and he replied something like this, "As a scientist, we don't mix up our religion with our work. We may be praying to God on Saturday or Sunday or as per our faith, but when we come to work, we believe in facts and logic".

He added, "We have heard that God is the most powerful and he is the most kind-hearted being in this universe and beyond, but when I see Tsunamis coming and killing people and destroying the cities, I doubt if God is not so powerful or he is not so Good".

Although the above conversation is not exactly the same and depends on what I remember, it went along the same lines.

This made me reflect on my own knowledge about this question "What is God?"

What I believe is that, God is nothing but the Energy that created this universe and everything inside or beyond.

God is not in Human form or in a form that we can perceive. He is omnipresent.

Now in place of God, I would like to use the word "Krishna", as this is what our scriptures actually point to. Krishna is the energy that is most powerful and that has created everything in this world and beyond.

Krishna is Me ... Krishna is You ... Krishna is the Car that You Drive ... and ... Krishna is that Little Pup that You Play with.

Krishna lives this universe in every form and to connect it with science, it is the energy that created everything.

So you cannot expect it to save people and cities during a Tsunami or other Natural Disasters. It's not a thinking being but the universe itself that observes itself through the senses of trillions of organisms and non-living things.

Now you can ask, How our questions get answered when we pray?
It's all in Positive Assertion that brings all the success in our life.

You would have seen that religions across different continents and countries have one thing in common, and it is prayers offered to the almighty.

To connect it further, Shlokas and Sanatan Scriptures have these positive assertions written in Sanskrit, and by reciting them you are able to channelize the energy that created this universe and beyond to achieve great success.

You know what! Everything is already documented by our ancestors in our Scriptures and Modern Science is just rediscovering it.

So to answer, what is God?
God or Krishna is the Divine Energy that created everything in this Universe and Beyond. It is not attached to us all in any way and it will not help us out if we don't realize the fact that we are indeed Krishna in itself.

Believe in this divine energy and focus on your tasks, plus have positive assertions, this will help you in achieving greater success in life.

If you are unsure about where to start, then start with reading Bhagwad Gita, as it has teachings about how to live in this world that is created by Krishna.
